Exclamation Super Vigor RUNES with +armor

Hello, I saw someone advertising a sale of super vigor rune with +40 armor. I was unable to see the item myself before he sold it.
Since the update are there now Super vigor runes with +armor in factions or did the seller make an error?

No such rune exists, Superior Vigor has not been changed, the seller was either making a mistake or attempting a scam.

quite likely the seller wasn't selling an actual rune, but rather an armor that had the rune in it. May have been an attempt to drive up the price a bit, may have just been someone who didn't understand.

Why is it too bad?
If you want a +41 one then buy a major vigor, and if you want a +50 then buy a superior vigor.
The seller was maybe trying to scam people saying its a superior vigor to get more money that if he was trying to sell it for a major.

Because he thought they were +40 armor as well. So when we said "No, it's a typo/scam" it became 'too bad.'

My thought exactly the selling probably just ID'd the armour without salvaging it and thought the AL40 went along with the rune itself or he knew that and was trying to scam ppl.

Can anyone tell me if the 9HP difference between major and superior justifies the price difference (many platinum difference)? It never made sense to me.

I personally don't think so.

Not to me, no.

Although I do confess to having bought a Sup Vigor when the priced dropped briefly to under 30K. That was a case of having too much cash and too much temptation though

If you intend to play PvP seriously, that extra 9hp, will, VERY VERY rarely, save your life in a situation that matters. However, if you do not plan to PvP quite seriously, then the return on your money is probably not justifiable.

The people who sell sup vigors can justify it. And the people who buy superior vigors don't know what the word "justify" means :P

I think people buy these just for the sake of them being 'perfect'. Its like having a fiery 14^50, +29hp sword. The bonuses have a very, very minor effect, because of the way damage is rounded off, etc. However, the price between that sword and the same one, except its perfect, is like, 20k or something. Having something perfect is a big deal to fancy rich people.

Very right. I have never used a superior vigor on my characters even though quite a few have dropped for me while farming ettins. In my mind the 40K selling it is better than the +9hp benefit. I use major vigors.

When you get a rune (any type) it's embedded in a monsters piece of armour right? All of the armours the the monsters drop have a rating up to 40. The armour rating doesn't matter and if you salvage the rune with an expert salvage kit you will always get the rune. So if he was selling for a reasonable price you could have just salvaged it yourself.

If he was trying to tell you that it also gave you +40 AR he was mistaken. He could have been trying to scam you but also a lot of people believe a lot of weird urban legends and he could just be operating under bad information. Look how many people still don't get how global absorption works with warrior armour and runes.
